Including new video, heavily crumbled in film grain and dotted in black and white. It’s the comeback of the year, six years – Adele’s fans have never had to wait that long for new songs.
This new Adele is just the beginning, “Easy On Me” is after all a release of the album “30”, which will follow on November 19th. And that should give even more insights into the emotional world of the super singer.

In the almost five and a half minute piece, the British woman leaves a whole world behind. An old country house that she is giving up. She packs her bags, sits down in her car and just drives straight ahead. Always on. The main thing is away.
Lines like “I didn’t get a chance to feel the world around me. I didn’t have the time to choose what to do, ”affirm this woman who is starting a new life and finishing up with her old one. The chorus and title means something like “Don’t be so strict with yourself”.
A call to forgive yourself above all!

Adele, who filed for divorce from husband Simon Konecki (47) in 2019, revealed in the run-up to “Vogue”: “On the one hand, this album feels like self-destruction, then again like self-reflection and making amends to myself. But I feel ready . I want people to hear my side of the story. “
The song ends as “Rolling in the Deep” once began: Adele sits on a chair and sings her heart out. Again it resounds mainly in the past.
