According to Immowelt, real estate prices are only falling in 4 out of 14 cities

Dusseldorf After months of turbulence, the situation on the residential real estate market seems to be stabilizing, at least for the moment. After the financing platform Europace and the digital broker McMakler had already reported a temporary end to the fall in prices, figures from the real estate portal Immowelt are now pointing in the same direction.

According to Immowelt, in the first quarter of the year the asking prices for existing apartments fell compared to the previous quarter in only four of the 14 major cities surveyed. In four cities it even went up again, including Berlin with an increase of two percent. In the other major cities, the price level stagnated. Only in Frankfurt (minus one percent), Stuttgart, Bremen and Düsseldorf (each minus two percent) did it continue to fall slightly.
