Tragic accident on Tuesday afternoon in an industrial area near Minden (East Westphalia). According to witnesses, a motorcyclist (30) raced up and down a street several times at excessive speed. He performed several so-called “wheelies” in which the machine only drives on the rear wheel. Until it went wrong!
According to the police’s previous knowledge, the biker overtook a car, then started doing a “wheelie”, lost control and fell. He crashed under a parked driving school car, and his Honda hit a parked truck several meters away.
Witnesses reported a loud bang. A police spokesman: “Despite the use of first aiders and the most intensive efforts of an emergency doctor and other rescue workers, nothing more could be done for the Mindener.” He died at the scene of the accident.
