Accenture is planning further takeovers in Germany

Dusseldorf There were times when Accenture was dismissed in this country as a large and influential consulting firm that was only focused on IT. The times have changed. With the SKS Group from Hochheim near Wiesbaden, Accenture has now acquired the ninth management consultancy in a row.

“We have positioned ourselves more broadly and more deeply,” says Christina Raab, Accenture boss for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). The 48-year-old adds: “SKS is just the first acquisition this year in Germany. It will certainly not remain our last takeover. We want to continue acquiring and growing in the near future.”

Raab, who has been in office since October 2021, is thus continuing the ambitious growth course of her predecessor Frank Riemensperger, who retired in 2021.
