new York Amazon didn’t wait long. A few hours after the report about an upcoming reversal in abortion laws in the USA, the online retailer wrote an email to its employees. In it, he promised the women that they would pay up to $4,000 in travel expenses if they had to travel to other states for an abortion in the future.

“This is a scary day for women across our country,” Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg wrote in a post on the social media Tuesday. “Every woman, no matter where she lives, must be free to choose if and when she becomes a mother,” she writes.
