As it will be remembered, the MatePad series running the HarmonyOS operating system was showcased in the past months. In fact, the 12.6-inch MatePad Pro model of the series with 60 Hz refresh rates caused reactions. The tablet, which was launched as a competitor to Apple’s new iPad Pro at the launch, despite its advanced features, remained relatively low on the screen side, which also attracted the attention of Huawei, according to the information received.

In this direction, it has recently emerged that Huawei is working on a new version of the 12.6-inch MatePad Pro that supports 120 Hz refresh rates. Let’s also point out that the tablet whose live image was leaked is the test device used by the company engineers.

At the moment, there is no clear information about what differences the new version will include compared to the standard model. However, the claims are that the Wi-Fi variant will be powered by the Kirin 9000E, while the 5G will be powered by the Kirin 9000 processor. With up to 512 GB of internal storage and Huawei’s NM card slot, it will also be possible to increase the storage.

The device is expected to use a 12.6-inch OLED panel with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio DCI-P3 color gamut and a Delta E color accuracy rating of less than 0.5. In addition, eight speakers by Harman Kardon, three rear cameras and wifi 6 compatibility available.

The tablet will be powered by a 10,050 mAh battery that supports 40W fast wired charging, 27W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. As you know, Huawei has claimed that it can play videos for 14 hours on a single charge on the battery side.

Finally, there is no information about when and with what price tags the tablet will be released. In addition, it should be noted that the features other than the processor and refresh rate will be valid if they are the same as the standard model. Because the company can surprise the users with the tablet with completely different features.
