A free update is coming to Elden Ring!

Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is at the door, but From Software has not forgotten the players who will not purchase the DLC. The company adds that it will bring a host of new content with a free update coming to Elden Ring on Thursday, June 20.

This update is very important because, in addition to the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, it also offers various improvements for the base game. According to the statement made on Elden Ring’s social media accounts, the update brings bug fixes, balance adjustments and a number of new features.

For example, after installing the update it will now be possible to see all recently acquired items at a glance (previously, new items were simply lost in a pile, making it almost difficult to understand what you bought). Newly purchased items will be marked with an exclamation mark and the Latest Items tab will be added to the inventory.

There are also some changes to Call Pools. After the update, Active Call Pools will be moved to NG+ mode and there will be an option to enable or disable individual Call Pools in the newly added Map Functions menu. FromSoftware states that only active Call Pools will be selected when using the Little Golden Statue.
