Daimler Truck and Hannover Re beckon to be included in the Dax. Sixt could move up to the MDax.

Frankfurt So far, the commitment has paid off – and things could continue to improve. Daimler Truck has been listed on the stock exchange as an independent company for two months. Mercedes-Benz shareholders automatically received the shares in the former commercial vehicle subsidiary at a price of EUR 28 – the share is currently trading at around EUR 32.

In March, even more investors are likely to become aware of Daimler Trucks. The reason: “Daimler Truck’s ascent to the Dax is almost certain,” says Luca Thorißen, index expert at Stifel Europe Bank.
