Frankfurt After the German share index (Dax) ended trading at 16,204 points on Thursday with an increase of almost 0.6 percent, a clouded trend became apparent on Friday morning.
An hour after the start of the stock market, the Dax was around half a percent down at 16,124 points. The picture was mixed across Europe, the broad index Stoxx Europe 600 initially slipped slightly into the red area, but then recovered again. Helaba’s experts expect that investors will remain cautious about the decisions of the central banks in the USA, Europe and Japan. The Fed in the USA and the European Central Bank (ECB) could already raise interest rates for the last time, says Jörg Krämer, chief economist at Commerzbank, for example.
