A problem we had with Mac Studio, which we use in our office, almost caused our new video archive to be gone. The Mac, which was trouble for Esabil, was always booting into recovery mode. So how did we solve this problem?
The most expensive Apple computer in the office crashed!
The rectangular prism-shaped Mac Studio, with a width of 7.7 inches and a length of 3.7 inches, comes with the M1 Max and the new M1 Ultra processor, which we saw in the MacBook Pro models.
We see that there are 4 Type-C Thunderbolt ports on the back of the device. It also has 10 Gbps Ethernet, 2 USB-A, HDMI and Pro Audio Jack (Hi-Res) inputs. In addition, it comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 standards. On the front, it comes with 2 Type-C (M1 Ultra and 2 Thunderbolts) and SD card reader.
In addition, the device can transfer images to 4 4K TVs or monitors at the same time. In addition, thanks to the M1 Max processor in it, it is stated that it is 2.5 times faster than the iMac model with the 10-core i9 processor introduced in the past period, and 50 percent faster than the Mac Pro with the 16-core Xeon processor. On the graphics performance side, it is stated to be 3.4 times better than the 27-inch iMac model using Radeon Pro 5700XT.
The version using the M1 Ultra chip has 3.8 times the performance of the iMac with a 10-core i9 processor and 90 percent higher than the Mac Pro with a 16-core Xeon processor. It is also stated to be 60 percent faster than the Mac Pro model with a 28-core Xeon processor.
When we look at the graphics performance, it is 4.5 times more performance than the 27-inch iMac and 80 percent more than the Mac Pro. In addition, the M1 Max processor version offers RAM options ranging from 32GB to 64GB, while the M1 Ultra version comes with options ranging from 64GB to 128GB.
When we look at the SSD data transfer speeds of the Mac Studio model, Apple offers memory support up to 8TB, which can go up to 7.4 Gbps. In addition, the company says that this device is the only computer in the world that can simultaneously play 18 8K ProRes 422.
