Berlin A few months ago there was great fear that Germany would run out of gas. In the meantime, the winter is over and the topic is hardly in focus anymore. The danger of a lack of gas has long been present again.
Federal Network Agency President Klaus Müller now warns: “We must also prepare well for next winter.” Of course, the conditions are better than last year. “However, a gas shortage is not impossible next winter either,” Müller told the Handelsblatt. Economics Veronika Grimm also warns: “We’re not over the hill yet!”
