200 Billion Purchase: Giant Whale Breast Increases Coin Balance

WhaleStats, the tracking platform that tracks the largest wallets on Ethereum, BSC and several other blockchains, recently reported that the 254th largest ETH whale has accumulated a massive meme coin.

According to the shared data, giant ETH investor “BlueWhale0073” bought a staggering amount of meme coins worth $2,240,026 ($2.24 million) worth 200,899,251,805 (200.89 billion) in one significant transaction. The transaction in question took place about 10 hours ago.

With this move, the giant whale made a big purchase for the second time in the past week. The leading ETH whale also spent $1,481,747 ($1.48M) on March 3 to purchase 131,477,192,339 (131.47 billion) SHIBs.

On the other hand, this latest acquisition has elevated the Shiba Inu to the position of one of the most purchased tokens among the 2000 largest ETH whales.

Besides, according to WhaleStats data, SHIB is the most popular cryptocurrency among the top 1000 ETH whales by dollar value. These top 1,000 whales own $606.551,443 (606.55 million) worth of meme coins.

As you can see, meme coin is quite common among whales. The recent surge in SHIB interest has come after several key developments in the ecosystem.

BTCC, one of the oldest fiat-crypto exchanges, recently announced that it has listed SHIB on its platform.

In addition, Shiba Inu topped CoinMarketCap’s Weekly Trending Coin List, outperforming key players like Bitcoin (BTC) and Polygon (MATIC).
