Dusseldorf Not everyone is equally comfortable in every job. While some find it easy to involve other people or convince them of your point of view or product, the idea is especially terrifying for introverts. “Introverts get their energy from stillness,” explains Sylvia Löhken, an expert in personality-based communication.

In everyday working life, quiet people are quickly underestimated because their high level of internal activity is initially invisible. But the good news is: There are jobs in which introverts can be who they are – and score with their strengths.

The Handelsblatt has tapped a payroll from the Indeed job exchange for introvert suitability. Above all, this includes working independently and clear structures for day-to-day work. Many positions are paid as well as a managerial position. All salary figures are median salaries, i.e. the income at which there are just as many people with a higher than with a lower salary.
